The "linen leather" mentioned by the user is not genuine leather, but rather two common materials:
Faux Leather Linen Blend: Linen is blended with polyester fibers (typically 55% linen + 45% polyester), with a leather-like texture embossed on the surface.
Polyurethane Coated Linen: Polyurethane (PU) is sprayed onto a linen base, creating a leather-like suppleness at a lower cost.
Linen leather jackets often use the following combination (refer to the AllSaints material label):
Outer Layer: Linen + PU coating (0.5-0.8mm thick)
Inner Lining: 100% pure linen or cotton mesh
This design retains the breathability of linen while enhancing its durability, making it suitable for spring and autumn wear.
