How to Identify High-Quality Linen Garments

To select high-quality linen fabric, besides observing its texture and natural characteristics, you can also use some simple tests to help determine its quality.

Linen Washing and Care

To maintain the beauty and durability of linen fabric, it is recommended to follow these guidelines for washing and care:

Avoid using chlorine bleach.

Soak linen garments in warm water below 30℃ for 10 minutes using a neutral detergent. Hand washing or machine washing is acceptable, but dry cleaning is best.

When hand washing, gently brush with a soft-bristled brush.

Before drying, do not wring linen garments; simply air dry naturally. To prevent wrinkles, it is best to smooth the garment before drying.

Iron the garment at medium temperature when it is about 80% dry; this will make the linen garment smoother and more even.

When ironing, be quick and avoid direct contact between the iron and the fabric.
